Taking part in this occasion were The Brunei Hotel, BizDigital, BizAdvize, BizIT Solutions, LiHo, KedaiKu, Culinary School by Laksamana College of Business, and Siti Kaprawi selling several delicacies such as Greek Focaccia, Mac n Cheese, Salted Caramel Tarts, Pavlovas, Assorted cookies, Glazed Doughnuts and many more.
The event was officially launched by Ms Yvonne Kuan, Chair of BBBF in the presence of the President of Brunei Darussalam Association of the Blind (BNAB), Yang Mulia Awang Muhammad Hamzi bin Omar with BNAB Board Members and Members.
The Chair of BBBF said, “The BBBF is delighted to hold its second Charity Food & Bake Sale with all proceeds going to the Brunei Darussalam National Association of the Blind to highlight the importance in promoting inclusivity and equality of the community within the society.
Today there are 122 visually impaired individuals registered with the Brunei Darussalam Association of the Blind. We hope this event will highlight the association and their values and goals.”
The Chair also thanked the organisations and individuals who generously donated their time to support this event by donating baked goods.
A total sum of $1,300 was raised during this event.
