The Britain Brunei Business Forum donated Ramadan Gifts to children of YASKA on Saturday, 9 May 2020. Gifts consisting of Lego, books and toys were received on behalf of the children by the Vice Chairperson of YASKA and Occupational Therapist at RIPAS’ Paediatric Oncology Ward, Tsara’ Nawwarah binti Abdullah Chen.

The children of the committee of the BBBF made personalised cards for each of the children enclosing messages of support and Ramadan greetings.

Chair of BBBF, Yvonne Kuan said “Ramadan is a time for gifting and remembering children who are going through the toughest of times. We are delighted to bring some joy to these brave children and to let them know that we are with them as they fight their battles.”

YASKA is a non-governmental organisation that provides information and support for children diagnosed with cancer and their families.

The Britain Brunei Business Forum was founded under the patronage of the British High Commission in Brunei to enable British and Bruneian business people to meet together in order to further trade. Visit www.britbrubus.com for information on its activities and events.
