Weds, 9 August 2023 – Britain Brunei Business Forum (BBBF) held a business talk for its members and invited guests featuring Dato Timothy Ong, a distinguished speaker and business leader at the Residence of the British High Commissioner on Wednesday, 9 August 2023.
The talk entitled “Doing business in Brunei: Tips to a smoother journey” provided a platform for members of the BBBF to engage in a dynamic dialogue on the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the local business landscape.
In his welcoming remarks, His Excellency John Virgoe, British High Commissioner highlighted the significance of such engagements, saying, “It is an honour to host a gathering of professionals and business people this evening. This event showcases the strong partnership between the British High Commission and Britain Brunei Business Forum and I am confident that the insights shared by Dato Timothy Ong will contribute significantly to the growth and innovation of our business community.”

During the talk, Dato Timothy Ong spoke on how businesses can embrace change and drive innovation, and shared several tips on how to rethink traditional business models to drive efficiency, competitiveness, and growth.
The evening ended with a networking dinner hosted by the His Excellency John Virgoe, British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.
