More than 70 members and guests of the Britain Brunei Business Forum (BBBF) attended a Gala Evening to celebrate its 20th Anniversary since its formation on Saturday, 10 December 2022 at the Radisson Hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan.
On arrival to the event, the Guest of Honour, YM Awang Haji Khairuddin Bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, Ministry of Finance and Economy was greeted by Siva Subramaniam, Chair of BBBF
Mr Siva Subramaniam, Chairperson of the BBBF said in his Welcoming Address:
“ Please join the BBBF in celebrating our 20th Anniversary since our formation in 2002, from our very humble beginnings of around 20 members to the vibrant and energetic organisation it is today, with over 70 members from a wide range of industries such as banking, oil and gas, education and many more. We look forward to the next 20 years in Brunei Darussalam; deepening our presence, not only locally, but also abroad connecting with the various business chambers in the region. We thank our members for their support in helping us achieve our goals and tonight, we especially thank our main sponsor of our 20th Anniversary, Standard Chartered Bank for making our celebration possible.”
Also attending the event was Ms Catherine Pochkhanavala-Cleeve, Deputy British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam who kindly delivered Opening Remarks to the audience.
