As Brunei Darussalam continues in their vigilance against Covid and with the easing of restrictions, the BBBF were honoured to hold a talk entitled “Growth, Opportunities and Challenges in 2021” for their members on Wednesday, 4 November 2020 at the Residence of the British High Commissioner.
The event also served as an opportunity for the BBBF members to meet HE John Virgoe who recently took up post as the British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam in August 2020.
The speakers at this event were Dr Colin Ong QC of Dr Colin Ong Legal Services and Pengiran Aki Ismasufian Pengiran Haji Ibrahim, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank, Brunei Darussalam.
The talk was moderated by Ms Yvonne Kuan, Chair of BBBF and closing remarks were made by HE John Virgoe.
A networking dinner was held after the talk to allow members to mingle and exchange thoughts and comments on the talk.
