Friday, 29 September 2023 – Britain Brunei Business Form (BBBF) holds leadership talk  by Lt Col Hugo Stanford Tuck

Britain Brunei Business Forum (BBBF) was honoured to host Lt Col Hugo Stanford-Tuck, Commanding Officer of British Forces Brunei and 1st Battalion, the Royal Gurkha Rifles for a talk on the topic “Leading Evolving Organisations in a Time of Global Change” on Friday, 29 September 2023.

Before the event began, Pg Aki Ismasufian bin Pg Hj Ibrahim, Chair of BBBF expressed his appreciation to the British High Commission in Brunei for their support in the organisation of this talk. In his welcoming remarks, Pg Aki said “The BBBF is honoured to have Lt Col Hugo Stanford-Tuck share his expertise with our members and guests. His insights on leadership in the face of global change are particularly relevant to businesses seeking to navigate the ever-shifting economic and geopolitical landscape.”

During the one hour talk, Lt Col Hugo Stanford-Tuck delivered a presentation on the essential principles of leadership in organisations adapting to the dynamics of global change. With a distinguished military career and extensive leadership experience, Lt Col Stanford-Tuck offered valuable insights on strategies for steering organisations through evolving landscapes.

Also attending the event was Capt (RN) Jon Caple, Defence Adviser at the British High Commission, Brunei, who delivered the Opening Remarks. Forty business leaders and members of BBBF attended the event and actively participated in the Question and Answer session.

Before the event ended, a rousing band performance by 1RGR Pipes and Drums gave the delighted audience a 15 minute performance.
