BBBF held it first ever Charity Food Sale at Mabohai Shopping Complex on Sunday, 27th October 2019.
The event was strongly supported by the British High Commission in Brunei Darussalam who baked traditional English cakes such as Eccles Cake and Raspberry Bakewell tart for sale to the public.
Several other vendors sold a wide range of sweet and savoury delicacies.
All proceeds of the event will be donated to Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam whose Executive Trustee, Pengiran Datin Hajah Noraini attended the event with members of their Board of Trustee.
Ms Natalie Gowers-Barnes, Deputy British High Commissioner and Ms Yvonne Kuan, Chair of BBBF opened the event by cutting a ribbon together. In her speech, the Chair of BBBF thanked the vendors for taking part in the charity event and for donating all proceeds of the sale to Pusat Ehsan.
