Starting the year with a light social evening, 40 members and guests enjoyed a curry buffet held at the Brunei Hotel.
The evening started with Welcoming Remarks from the Chair, Ms Yvonne Kuan, followed by a short talk on Chinese New Year customs and traditions, and a Chinese calligraphy demonstration by Mr Charles Ting, an Executive Committee member.
After the demonstration, several guests tried their hand at writing their names or greetings under Charles’ guidance.
