The Britain Brunei Business Forum (BBBF) held a Business Dialogue for its members on Wednesday, 30 March 2022 at the Residence of the British High Commissioner, as part of a series of talks and events celebrating the BBBF’s 20th anniversary.
The BBBF was honoured to welcome back Dato Timothy Ong, Brunei businessman and the Founder Chairman of Asia Inc Forum as its distinguished speaker at this talk entitled “Doing Business in Brunei Darussalam.”
In her opening remarks, the Deputy British High Commissioner, Ms Catherine Pochkhanavala-Cleeve welcomed the speaker and the audience to the event and thanked Dato Ong for sharing his experience and insights as a businessman in Brunei.
Dato Ong spoke about how organisations can prepare for a post-Pandemic future, some of the challenges ahead and how to adapt to change.
In his closing remarks, the Chair of BBBF, Mr Siva Subramaniam thanked Dato Ong for his insights and for his very engaging talk and also the audience for their questions and participation. The Chair also thanked Mr Allen Lai, Director – ASEAN & Corporate Affairs at the UK-ASEAN Business Council for moderating the event.
About 35 members of BBBF attended the event which ended with a networking dinner hosted by the Deputy British High Commissioner.
