Britain Brunei Business Forum holds Legal Talk by Dr Colin Ong KC, a leading English King’s Counsel, Singapore and Brunei lawyer
More than 80 members and guests attended a joint event organised by Britain Brunei Business Forum (BBBF) and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce (CCC) to listen to a talk delivered by Dr Colin Ong KC, a leading English King’s Counsel, Singapore and Brunei lawyer entitled “The Law and Business” at the Radisson Hotel on Wednesday, 6 July 2022.
In his opening remarks, Mr Siva Subramaniam, Chair of BBBF thanked the audience comprising of members of the diplomatic corps, leading Brunei business people, bankers and members of both the BBBF and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for attending the event. He also thanked Dr Colin Ong KC for delivering this important talk, held in conjunction with the BBBF’s 20th Anniversary Celebration in 2022.
Dr Colin Ong KC spoke on a wide range of business law topics ranging from commercial law, company law, contract law, investment law and dispute resolution including arbitration. He gave practical examples and tips on what businesses should be aware of in their daily business activities.
